I rather agree with Sam Baxter about unusual for date birds:
We had a Spotted Flycatcher that stayed in the valley through the weekend, and a flyover Siskin. And a pair of Mallard that visit our tiny pond most nights.
More normally, Linnets and Whitethroats are feeding fledglings, and the Whitethoats are displaying again. As is a previously-skulking Sedge Warbler.
