Lots of activity at the Gann on Thursday,
I arrived
before high tide in the morning (7:30) to find large flocks of Dunlin
& Ringed Plovers (Adult and Juveniles) along the waters edge, very
quite on the lagoon just Gulls & Cormorants.
Two of the
Juvenile Shelducks were on the edge of the sea. lots of Gulls around,
GBB, Herring & Black-headed. large flock of Curlew were at the back
of the field waiting for the tide to go out. also a large flock of
Oystercatchers.
Peregrine flew over and put all the Curlew and Gulls up, Only managed a quick grab shot as I wasn't expecting one.
