On the Marshes today, Green Sandpiper, Greenshank, Common Sandpiper and the Coot still present on Mallard Pond. Around the estuary fluctuating counts of waders - mid morning 6 Turnstone and 4 Bar-tailed Godwits were watched arriving, by the evening the Sanderling count had climbed to 15. Dunlin and Ringed Plover counts remained c20 of each over the course of the day.
