Waders at the Gann

At least eleven species of wader were at the Gann early this morning, including Curlew, a single Whimbrel, Oystercatcher, Greenshank, Redshank (over 20),Common Sandpiper,Black-tailed Godwit, Dunlin, Ringed Plover and Turnstone. However, the highlight for me was this juvenile Ruff. Two Med Gulls were among a large number of other Gulls that were also present.
