Dale Airfield

From George Mee:

The track up to the airfield was busier than usual this morning. Lots of migrants taking advantage of the shelter. A lesser whitethroat was best, along with chiffchaffs, willow warblers, whitethroats and a blackcap. The airfield itself was underwhelming. About 30 wagails about half white, and a single yellow. Lots of pipits, and linnets bathing in the new puddles. No sign of the wryneck, or anything else in the blackthorn scrub.
