I was wondering if anyone happens to have an old optical equipment (ideally binoculars or monoculars) they would be happy to donate for use with school children.
I have just started working at Lower Treginnis Farm, near St. Davids for the charity Farms for City Children. We run residential trips for schools from cities, giving them a week of “mud, muck and magic”. Part of their week includes a coastal walk to see some of Pembrokeshire’s wildlife. Currently I’m sharing just one pair of binoculars between groups of up to 13 children. If anyone has anything they don’t use anymore which they would like to donate it would make a huge difference to our visitors.
