An excellent morning in terms of numbers and variety of migrants. Kept thinking something big would appear but no luck. Totals were: 1 Wryneck, 2 Whinchats, 1 Tree Pipit, 10 Spotted Flycatchers (a record), 45 Willow Warblers, 22 Whitethroats, 5 Blackcaps, 15 Wheatears, 3 Chiffchaffs and one each of Reed, Grasshopper and Sedge Warbler. Loads of Mipits in too.
