"Please can you make folks on the blog aware that a dead Peregrine and kestrel were found by myself near Newgale beach. Both birds showed no evidence of injury. I have reported this to Dyfed Powis wildlife crime officer and Lynda Makepeace of Welsh Government Plant Health and environment branch. The peregrine is being sent to AHPA Carmarthen for poison testing and post mortem.
People need to be very careful about the location details of raptors and really need to keep their eyes open for suspicious characters and report anything odd to the police."
