A flock of c.100 Greylags flew over towards Landshipping from the Martletwy direction late this morning. In recent years their numbers have typically built up in this area at this time of year.
Noting David's observations of a hybrid Canada x Greylag, we have been aware of one around the Landshipping area for a couple of years or more. Presumably it was the same bird?
Increasing numbers of Starlings are also starting to roost again in the Slebech area.
