Roost very late to form tonight, as it can be at times, with birds bathing and leaving. Only 250 LBB at 5pm, 1,000 at 5:30pm, 1,500 at 5:45 and then everything appeared just before dark, giving a final tally of 5,000 at 6:15pm. Majority LBB though 100 or so adult Herring gulls was an increase from earlier in the week, fewer BH gulls c20, 3 adult GBB and an adult Common gull. Min. 4 Yellow-legged gulls (3 adult and a 1st W) which didn't appear until the final scan.
