4 Sabine's gull (adult and 3 juv) the highlight of todays seawatch at Strumble between 7-3pm.
Personal tallies were: 44 Arctic skua (27d,17p), 21 Bonxie, 3 Pom (2 adult, juv), 34 Balaeric shearwater, 2 Grey phalarope. 85 Commic tern, 6 Sandwich tern, 50 Common Scoter (37m, 13f). Single Grey plover and 2 Golden plover. Good numbers of Kittiwake, with one of the juv Sabs settling in among them just out from the lookout allowing excellent views (if not so excellent photos!). Auks (mostly Razorbills) passing all day (at times 100/minute). Good to have a few sharp eyes in the lookout today.
