St Brides and the Gann

Another good look around St Brides - a couple of hours is never enough with such a lot of great habitat that something rare could tuck itself away in. A bit of a repeat of Derek's birds from yesterday, with the Black redstart and Spotted flycatcher sharing the church roof and the young Kestrel again on the telephone wires. Otherwise an increase in Goldcrest since last time, 3 Chiffchaff, flock of 14 Long-tailed tit. A Stock dove with 40 Wood pigeons in a recently harvested maize field.

The Gann at high tide. 550 BH gulls with 34 Med gulls (26 adult, 4 2cy, 4 1cy) and single adult Common gull. 6 Brent, the 4 Barwits and the single Blackwit.
