A strung out roost tonight running from opposite the boat house to the hide. 5 Yellow-legged gulls (3 adult, 2 1w). Drizzle and low light so no count made but looked a good size. Otherwise: pair of Red kite, 10 Greylag and 4 Barnacles among the Canada flock. Only 2 GC grebe. c1,000 starling heading south low over the reservoir. With Paul and joined by Huw L.
