There's often a fair gathering of gulls at the mouth of Sprinkle Pill towards dusk. Dominated by Black-headed and Lesser Black-backed, the numbers from a count a couple of days ago:
Black-headed 497+
Lesser Black-backed 68
Herring 11
Great Black-backed 8
Common 1
Apart from the gulls a good number of Shelduck (71) were on the mud flats.
