Black-headed Gull EA69458 at Pembroke Millpond

We have now had confirmation that the 1CY Black-headed Gull EA69458, at Pembroke Millpond on 10th December, had been ringed as a nestling at Rye Meads on the Hertfordshire/Essex border on 05-Jun-2021, 330km to the east of the Millpond. 

From other records posted on the Blog, this one appears to be the fourth ringed Black-headed Gull  from SE England to have been reported in Pembrokeshire during the last three years. The others were all ringed in Essex and, at least one of them (like the Millpond bird), came from breeding colonies in the Lee valley.
