Bitterly cold wind with heavy showers passing through. As I approached the hide a 1stW female type marsh harrier was being mobbed by crows: Alan Merrett who was in the hide got some photos which I hope to put up later. The harrier disappeared upstream and did not reappear while I was there. A flock of 200 lapwing in the field on the right as you drive down to Gupton Farm, another flock on the N side of the Corse.
