As reported earlier by Rosemary, 3 Whooper Swan at the Gann today commuting between the river and the bay, last seen on the sea as the tide came in. The adult was metal ringed - managed to read the last 3 digits but I think getting the whole code needs a massive slice of luck (and some impressive field skills!). The code ended in 846. Also 28 Brent Geese (all pale bellied, and all except one adults - none of them were ringed). Managed to pick up 2 colour-ringed Med Gulls and 3 colour-ringed Black-headed Gulls. The Hooded Crow was still on the beach and a single Great Northern Diver in the bay (2 recently).
