At dusk last evening three Whooper Swans flew down the Marloes valley towards the Gann steadily losing height so probably roosting on the river and feeding somewhere on the Marloes peninsula. Looked like 2 adults and a juv but difficult to be sure in the poor light.
We still have up to 10 Jays around our feeders every day but rather fewer finches after it got milder again. Haven't seen a greenfinch in the garden this autumn.
