From Fiona Day:
A few highlights from around St. David's this week...
Tuesday: great views of a barn owl at around 4.30pm on the Whitesands road, just next to Caeriad market garden.
Wednesday: half an hour at Dowrog common before dark gave great views of a short eared owl and a glimpse of a barn owl.
Thursday: just before 8am a golden plover flew across the road and
landed in the verge between the Cathedral and the turning for
Treginnis.
Friday: seven whooper swans on Trefeddian at around 4.15pm. A great
white egret flew over head on the Fishguard road near Croesgoch.
