Castlemartin Corse

The 2CY marsh harrier was alternating short flights with long periods sitting in blackthorn bushes. Some duck action at the hide for a change - 13 teal (11 ♂♂ 2 ♀♀) dropped in, some of the males displaying nicely. 10 shoveler hove into view from the right. Lots of water rail calling in the reedbed, at least 3 Cetti's singing. The marsh harrier put up lots of snipe (and the ducks). 2 raven, 1 buzzard, 1 grey heron, the 2 swans - but as Richard C says quiet on the small bird front.
