A belated record from Chris Orsman who saw 3 Short-eared Owls over the dune slacks, just
inland of the road at Freshwater West last Saturday afternoon, at about 15:45.He watched them for
almost 10 minutes. They were hunting and interacting, flying up at times, and
one or two seemingly (mock?) displaying. His views were from the Freshwater West road behind the dunes.
