A nice surprise for Anna - a Great White Egret floated across the road at Rickeston heading for the upper reaches on Sandy Haven. Wondering where it came from - a farm irrigation pond or maybe Walwyn Castle lake which is a nice walk around when its not too muddy.
Seems like Chiffchaffs have arrived in numbers. With SE winds coming from the continent this weekend it could be interesting.
