Castlemartin Corse - more migrants

A whitethroat was singing across the road on the range as I parked at Gupton Farm. Down on the Corse, 3 grasshopper warblers were reeling at well spaced intervals (a fourth was reeling in the scrub above the car park when I got back to the car). Sand martins over the reedbed, also sedge warblers, willow warblers, chiffchaffs and Cetti's. Lots of birdsong.

8 chough were feeding in a recently ploughed sandy field on Gupton. Bob says: probably young non-breeders.

8 chough in sandy field: view across fen meadow to reedbed, hide rear right.
