Castlemartin Corse

Two swallows on the wires at Gupton Farm. I headed for the inland end of the Corse, inland from the hide. Lots of migrants in the old decoy ponds by the pines, which are now full of willow, hawthorn and blackthorn - lots of chiffchaffs, several willow warblers, blackcap and at least two sedge warblers singing. I encountered at least 6 Cetti's warblers, often singing against each other. I continued my fruitless quest to get a decent photo: you stop opposite an explosion of song, only for the next one to be 20 metres to your left or right. Otherwise - 1 greylag, 1 grey heron, buzzard, and all the usual small birds.
