Carew Mill Med Gull...

...back for its summer hols. Later than usual, it's lost nearly all its hood. Always occupies the exact same patch in the SW corner of the Millpond, seeing off any BHGs which venture too close. 

Not too far away, a juv female sparrowhawk perched in a tree on its knitting needle legs.
