Gann, some interest.

Always a cooler spot at any time of year, a walk along the pickleridge seemed optimal in the baking heat.

It held true as a nice breeze made it pleasant. At the river mouth along the shoreline of the incoming tide were good numbers of Dunlin and Ringed Plovers, plus what looked like a Sanderling among them, also in company with several Pied Wagtails was a Yellow Wagtail. First I have seen in quite a number of years.
