It was all yellow...

A new site record (for me) of 5 Yellow Wagtail at the Gann at the end of the ridge, alternating between the beach and the grassy area on the lagoon side of the scrub.  Some decent numbers of waders of late, with peak counts of 72 Ringed Plover, 40 Dunlin and 9 Greenshank (yesterday, 13th) and 29 Redshank today.  Also a very good count of 16 Little Egret yesterday.  The colour-ringed bird still present today.

We've seen a few Clouded Yellow butterflies lately, but the best was today with this pristine one favouring the Ragwort in the garden.
