Another interesting and varied seawatch between 6:30am and 2pm. Calm at first with a gentle WNW later, pleasant enough to sit outside the lookout. Plenty of birds moving, with regular accumulations of feeding gulls and gannets on shoals of baitfish close in at first becoming more distant into the afternoon. Common dolphins ever present and porpoise showing as well. 2 large splashes towards the horizon but couldn't see the culprits. Pick of the watch were 7 Arctic skuas (3 pale, 3 dark and a juv) with 3 birds really close in, 12 Balearic shearwater, 3 Black tern and a female/juv Garganey, that pitched down briefly before continuing. On a more sobering note, sadly a couple of dead gannets spotted drifting by.
