West Williamston Osprey

Upstream from the nature reserve, Andy S and I watched an osprey, initially perched on the usual tall post in the channel. It flew around for a bit and then resettled on some dead trees further upstream on the opposite shore of the Carew River. Also around 25 teal, 3 little egret, grey heron, plus oystercatchers, curlews, a couple of dunlin and a greenshank. Downstream on the opposite shore a party of greylag on the water. Round the corner in the Cresswell River more little egret, and a red kite following a tractor. Rather distant record shots of the osprey....
