From Vicky Pearson: An early walk this morning
along the coast path from Broad Haven to Haroldston Chins was rewarded
with large flocks of meadow pipits and goldfinches; a few linnet, lots
of robins at regular intervals, some dunnocks and stonechats and
a few wrens.
And my first common scoter of the season - a small flock of about 10
just north of the Sleekstone. Mostly male, just one female. They were
quite restless and flighty and there were possibly more that I couldn’t
spot.
And a Greater Spotted Woodpecker in my garden - not a normal garden bird
for me, right on the cliff top! A poor photo taken through the window
