WEBS count was very quiet at Millin Pill with 32 mallard, 6 teal, 2 little egrets and a grey heron.

But news from the ringing front was that a robin was caught at Kilpaison at the end of August, ringed initially at the Calf of Man bird Observatory.

The Robin had travelled 268Km in 37 days to get to Pembrokeshire.

Nice links as we visited the Calf of Man in Mid-September with a small group of us from the Pembrokeshire Ringing group including Bob Haycock who was warden there 1973-77.
