Marloes peninsular

A lovely walk around the Coast Path this morning before the rain.

Highlight was the (many) dozens of Red Admirals feeding on the ivy on the North side of the path from Martin’s Haven to East Hook farm.

A good morning for Red Kites: one over the Deer Park at breakfast, another two being harassed by a crow over the Trehill Farm fields. These are still infrequent visitors out here.

A juvenile Kingfisher on the Martin’s Haven jetty.

Two female Peregrines (one with brownish back, so maybe one of this year’s young?) tussling and screaming over the Mere.
