Covering David O's WEBs today, first visit to the Cleddau for a year. Highlights were the Great White egret over by Landshipping as the tide ebbed. 1000+ Golden plover twinkling over head and single flock of 570 Lapwing at Sprinkle. Group of 98 Dunlin with 6 Ringed plover. Group of 41 Redshank. Single group of 108 Mallard, group of 160 Wigeon and 92 Teal. Lots of Woodpigeon feeding on the acorn crop, a few flocks of 100+ with rough counts of around 750 in total. And Greylags in numbers I've not seen previously, skeins of 230, 200, 80 plus smaller groups moving from Slebech side and appearing to drop down north of Llangwm maybe towards Troopers Inn. I spoke to a couple who'd seen the Osprey a week ago and described a small b/w diving bird which may have been the Slav grebe, but only 2 GC grebe and Little grebe today.
