A couple of hours today

Visited a few local sites today, mostly quiet but the real highlight were  hundreds of Golden Plover in the fields between Sandyhaven  & St Ishmaels, even though a couple of hundred metres away I could here them "talking" to each other.

The Gann was quiet too with just a colour ringed Redshank to hold my interest for some time  to try & read the the ring number. 85. It was good to meet Dave Jackson ( of Royal Tern fame) again on his annual Winter visit, we spent some time scanning the bay & located the female Eider & GN Diver discovered earlier today by Dave Astins.
