As suspected yesterday, two adult Caspian Gull late morning, on the beach with the large numbers of large gulls, mainly Lesser Black-backed. One still present mid afternoon before most of the large gulls left to roost. Also an adult Yellow-legged Gull, an adult Kittiwake and an adult Mediterranean Gull made for a 9-gull-morning.
The female Eider still present in the bay, along with the Great Northern Diver. 2 adult Brent Geese (pale-bellied) and 3 Grey Plover. A yellow-ringed Herring Gull looks as if it was from a Polish scheme, but we couldn't confirm the code (it was P:???) and an orange ringed bird also couldn't be confirmed but was from the Isle of Man (??2:M). Hopefully pick them up again over the coming days.
