Martins haven

Just leaving the car park when several hundred Lapwing & Golden plover were flushed by something in the field below West Hook farm before settling back down again. I reversed back into the car park thinking about taking a look at them. After getting out of the car, I couldn`t see them at first  but they were quite well hidden in the sugarbeet(?) field. I didn`t even try to count them!
