I couldn't find the Water Pipit that Dave had reported yesterday during an hour at the Gann between 9 am and 10 am this morning. However, I was more than compensated by being able to spend some time watching an Otter swimming in the river just above the footbridge. Sadly, I don't have any decent photos to share, although I did take some record shots.
The female Eider was present in the Bay very close to the shore, as were two Great crested Grebes not very far out.
