The stock doves are now feeding in the turnip field on Kilpaison Burrows alongside the sheep. Chough have been a fixture in the red clover field on Gupton for a couple of weeks. A 2CY♂ male peregrine flew over a couple of times, Alan M had seen marsh harrier earlier.
More on the linnet-kestrel relationship (28.11.22, 04.02.23) - this time the linnets were feeding in the brassica field and were repeatedly flushed by the kestrel who showed no interest in them, concentrating on mammal/invertebrate prey.
