A Mediterranean gull was feeding alongside other gulls among the cattle in the wet meadows below Castlemartin Church. Probably not new to the Corse, but the first time I've recorded one there. Will, the farmer, tells me there are regularly egrets feeding with the cattle, I've briefed him on cattle egrets!
There is a public footpath across this upper part of the Corse if only you can find it, as it's not as shown on the OS map, having been re-routed a few years ago. Different at both ends, the S end leaving the road just above Castlemartin Church.
