Spoonbill

From Melanie Felton: Was checking out a wader from my house in Monkton on the Quoits Mill Pill this morning because something was off for an egret by it's movement with the naked eye. Got the scope on it and it was a spoonbill.
About 09.30 this morning it came to give a clear view as it had been half hidden by the banks. It then flew low away towards Pennar but landed where the Pill joins the Pembroke river, sadly it was too hazy and too distant then to attempt a photo .
Still visible when I had to leave for work, just back now but not visible at the moment.
