From Merv Hopkins: Mike B's comments about juv. bullfinch are echoed here by a sparrow that struck our window. It lay flat out for a while on our balcony and then lifted its head, remained like that for ten minutes or more and when we checked again it had gone. I assume it had flown off. Interesting!!!
