"Lark on the Runway" - The Movie

Recently edited and uploaded some footage of RAF Dale's Short-toed Lark. (Best viewed in 1080p). If anyone hasn't been for it, and is interested to see how it behaves in the field, or, indeed, hasn't seen one before, then this is the film for you. Hoping it helps people understand better what to look for. It's a very pale bird, and quite tiny, so it does stand out when you do find it. (Think: "Small hyperactive clockwork Snow Bunting.") On 30.8 it was favouring the grass-infused middle section to the southern runway. It loved working the grassy edges to the concrete patches. You can see this in the film. It's dodgy footage, but you'll get the idea... (Watch out for photo-bombing Northern Wheatears!)

PS The grassy area on the southern runway is framed by yellow lines on the attached aerial view of the runways below. (Although it may take off and relocate to the western or eastern runways...it is an airfield after all!)
