The marsh harrier spent the two hours that I was there this morning hunting the full length of the Corse, keeping >1000 lapwing and >6-800 golden plover constantly on the move. Although she passed through the thick of the lapwing, the harrier was ignoring anything flying and concentrating on ground level. The golden plover were constantly whooshing past at low altitude. A male peregrine shot through at one point, a buzzard the only other raptor while I was there.
