Skokholm

Our second Little Ringed Plover of the spring was today's highlight. The last few days have seen a steady passage of Chiffchaffs, Goldcrests and Wheatears, at least two Firecrest and a Black Redstart is lingering at the Farm. A Blackcap today had been ringed elsewhere (in 2022). A Whimbrel has overwintered and the Puffins have arrived back, with the earliest ever count of more than 2000. A small number of Redwing and Fieldfare trickle through. There are again daily updates on the Skokholm Blog.
