Yellowhammer Colour Ring Project

Pembrokeshire Ringing Group are conducting a Yellowhammer colour ring project in the Brandy Brook valley area. Each Yellowhammer has been ringed with a unique yellow colour ring which is engraved with two-letters in black (example AD, BZ, CT etc) on the left leg and a metal BTO ring on the right leg. We anticipate a 5-10km dispersal of the Yellowhammers during the spring/summer season. Ideally a record of the colour ring details or even a photo would be great, however, just a record of a sighting would suffice (area/date/time). Please send your sightings to mike@deer.co.uk.
