From John Bearne: Have just read with interest Bob and Annie’s report on Castlemartin and specifically the comment about a small starling population in Milford. Has any survey work ever been undertaken on them? Two years ago I noticed a post breeding flock of 150 mainly juveniles and this year have had four active and at times very noisy nests in bird boxes on a modern development opposite my house. I am aware of several other nests in the town most of which have been used for years. It’s good to see them doing well.
