From John O'Sullivan: Since July 4th there has been a small but regular movement of Mediterranean Gulls through the Freshwater East area.
Interestingly
the movement has not just been coastal. Four times I have seen birds
come in-off the channel, climb high and then head inland up the valley
heading NW, max flock of 11.
There are gatherings further north I believe this time of year, perhaps they will end up in one of those?
