The Osprey was seen near the Webley at 1300, 7 Sandwich and 2 Common Terns feeding in the bay. Whimbrels, Black-tailed Godwits, Great Crested Grebe all as yesterday. (post below)
Swallows at Newport... The Teifi Marshes roost has been declining over recent years, we suspect that many young Swallows are now roosting in local Maize crops. In the last fortnight up to 1000 Swallows are roosting above the iron bridge at Newport, a very impressive sight.
