Couple of hours out this afternoon. Started at St Brides, first Fieldfares and a first woodcock flying with Wood pigeons disturbed by some shooting. Plenty of blackbirds and redwings. At least 3 Chiffchaff behind the pumphouse.
The Gann. 52 Wigeon and 40 Teal mostly on the sea. Goldeneye and 6-7 Little grebe on the pools. Dozen Little egret. Plenty of Wood pigeons in the stubbles above the marsh, fly overs of 75, 150 and finally c200 which seemed to be heading towards Monk Haven. Spent some time checking for rings on the 100 or so mostly Herring gulls. 4 Skokholm birds, W:876, W:879, W:892, and W:971 (? it was partly submerged) also a likely Skomer herring gull with green ring left tibia vertical letters SJ.
