Quite a variety of birds at the Gann this afternoon, including the Greenshank, Redshank, Little Egrets, Wigeon, Teal and Little Grebes that are usually present at this time of year. However, the highlights for me this afternoon were two Knot on the lagoons, along with this smart male Red-breasted Merganser.
Last Wednesday, a family group of 6 Whooper Swans were present at Marloes Mere, including the birds in this photo.
